Rotarians Monica, Garth, Fiona, along with Bill from Books4Outback were joined by 80 volunteers from the National IT company TerraData.

The volunteers were at their conference held at Terrigal Crown Plaza and wanted to help the local community. Bec Daniels, ‘TerraData Cares’ coordinator reached out to Fiona at Volunteering Central Coast looking for local projects to assist.

We brought over a thousand donated books that ERC had collected over the past few years to be cleaned and cataloged ready to be displaced to the Books4Outback deport for an upcoming trip taking books to rural and remote schools from Moree and the outback beyond.

TerraData’s Vice President was delighted that the other charitable cause was one of her personal favorites, ‘Share the Dignity’, and assisted her colleagues to pack the emergency supplies for women escaping domestic violence here on the Central Coast.

A great day and it was wonderful to meet a group of such warm and friendly people wanting to make a difference in the local community they were visiting.
