Walking For Wellness Family Fun Day

On Sunday 8th September 2024 Erina Rotarians joined with the Rotary Club of Kariong Somersby to take part in Walking for Wellness. This is the second year the event has been held, and it is building towards being an annual event. Rotarians also helped out at the various stalls located at the end of the walk, promoting the upcoming Central Coast Busking Championships (September 29)

Three students from Erina High School recently completed the RYPEN winter camp in the Blue Mountains.

During the weekend students are encouraged to: learn to understand themselves and others and manage their relationships, lives, work, and learning more effectively. RYPEN provides an experience of ideas, problems, and social experiences which will assist them in forming their own values and moral standards and allow them to broaden their horizons culturally, socially and academically. Challenge by choice is an important aspect of the program experience.
Following their weekend experience, the students presented to members of the Rotary Club of Erina. They were enthusiastic about the program and this came through in their presentation. Our congratulations to Saga, Lucinda and Henry for completing the course, and now inspiring other students to apply.
