Wondabyne II Symposium

The Wondabyne Sculpture Symposium I and II are located in the Mt Penang Parklands precinct. Erina Rotary has been involved in the ongoing identification of the sculptures, enhancing the experience of, and access to the sculptures for visitors. The sculptures are the result of two symposiums, the first one at a site in Wondabyne in 1988. The sculptures from the site were relocated to the Mt Penang Gardens at Kariong. The second group of sculptures were carved in situ and can be found on the edge of the Mt Penang site. With the help of a grant through the Community Building Partnership program funds have enabled the placement of identification plaques near the second group of sculptures, along with information signage and landscape work around the edge of the rock.
