Rotary District 9685 Conference

The Rotary District 9685 covers an area from the Blue Mountains, to the Central Coast, Northern Beaches and the Hawkesbury.

Each year the serving District Governor organises a conference to showcase the work of Rotarians on a club level, a District level and an International level, revealing programs and projects that inspire the Rotary motto to do good in the world.

In March 2024 the conference was held on the Central Coast, so Erina Rotarians were more personally in the events. One special and timely part of the conference was a walk on Friday 15th March to “Say No to Domestic and Family Violence”. A key theme of District Governor Christine Owen’s year, the walk aims to raise awareness and demonstrate Rotary’s committment to the cause and shared values.

Guest speakers included the original “Yellow Wiggle” Greg Page, and founder of the School of S Jude, Gemma Sisia.
