Our CLub

The Erina Rotary Club

The membership of the Erina Rotary Club comprises people who use their skills to “do good in the world” – the motto of the Rotary Foundation.

The club was chartered on 12th June 1996 and meets most Tuesday evenings for dinner at the Erina Leagues Club, Ilya Avenue, Erina, 6:30 pm for a 7:00 pm start. Meetings usually finish at 8:30 pm. Go to our Contact Us page to find out when our next meeting will be.

We work locally and globally, often with other like-minded organisations, to take action and create a difference and lasting change in people’s lives.

Like the 35,000+ Rotary clubs around the world we have a shared vision to support the following:

  • Supporting education – we work with local schools in our area to provide programs for youth leadership, personal growth and development and student engagement. We are involved with programs like Love Bites, RYPEN (Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment), MUNA (Model United Nations Assembly) and the Science and Engineering Challenge.
  • Helping the disadvantaged – in our local community on the Central Coast we partner with organisations such as Coast Shelter to raise funds for programs that provide crisis accommodation, meals, women’s refuges, family support and the prevention of domestic violence. We also support Grandparents Raising Grandchildren on the Central Coast through the annual sales of Christmas trees.
  • We work on international projects that promote sustainable outcomes, such as clean water and sanitation, and maternal and child health – click here to find out more about Midwives East Timor Australia. Other programs and projects the club supports are the School of St Jude, Tanzania; Mahboba’s Promise, and Cradle of Love Tanzania. The club continues to support projects of rebuilding in Remexio, East Timor.
