Changeover Dinner 

The Changeover Dinner on July 6th to welcome Monika Hansen as Club President for the 2010 to 2011 year was a great success, thanks in part to Villa Sorgenti who provided the venue at short notice, and thanks also to the wide range of guests in attendance.

The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF)

Caroline O'Shannasy recently attended the National Youth Science Forum interviews in Chatswood with Erina High candidate Bethany Matheson. The exciting news for Erina RC as well as Bethany is that she has been successful and will be attending the NYSF in January 2011. Well done Bethany!

Century Challenge - 2010 ride a great success

In its tenth year, the Century Challenge Cycle Ride was enjoyed by over 500 riders. Braving some rain mixed with sunshine the riders experienced the scenic Central Coast hinterland and helped the Rotary Club of Erina raise much needed funds for Coast Shelter. Midwives East Timor Australia - Ambulance now in Timor

Margaret and the crew made it to Timor L'Este with the new Midwives' ambulance. On the way they raised awareness of the Millenium Development Goals amongst many other Rotary clubs between the Central Coast and Darwin. Check out all the action at  www.midwiveseasttimoraustralia.org

Giant Garage Sale @ Erina High School 21st August 2010 

Elections whilst necessary can be very boring. So cast your vote and then brighten up the day by bringing along your second hand goods and help raise money for the Rotary Foundation. The sale will be within the grounds of Erina High School, and aside from the famous Rotary Sausage Sizzle there will also be a selection of equally famous chocolates for sale so no-one need go hungry on the day.

District 9680 Conference 2009-2010

The conference this year was held in Port Macquarie with a strong presence from Erina Rotary Club. The keynote speakers were excellent and included Gemma Sissia, who gave a wonderful update on her progress at the School of St Jude - a project close to the hearts of many Erina Rotarians.
